  • The included RSVP card and envelope that you received with the invitation is the best way to RSVP (We will contact you if we didn’t receive anything back).

  • The ceremony will start at 6:30PM. Guests will be able to enter the Boathouse at 6PM. So come a little early, grab your drink, pick your favorite seat!

  • Yes! We have a block of rooms reserved at Hampton Inn Brooklyn/Downtown under “Carter Karmel Wedding” from May 18th to the 21st. You can contact them directly at (718) 875-8800, or use our personal link by clicking here

  • Prospect Park wayfinders will be onsite throughout the park to guide guests to the venue. There is also park signage for The Boathouse & Audubon Center throughout the park. For a detailed map, please see the details card in the invitation (that image can also be found here)

  • The Boathouse is located at 101 East Drive inside Prospect Park. We suggest entering the park just south of 452 Flatbush Avenue if you're driving or at the intersection of Ocean Ave. & Lincoln Rd. if you're taking Uber/Lyft, or the subway.

  • Yes! We have booked a trolley to transport our guests that are staying at the Hampton Inn and take them to the Boathouse. This trolley will also make a return trip at the end of the night back to the hotel.

  • Yes! Once you turn onto Willink Drive, park wayfinders will be onsite to direct you to the lot. Once you are parked, it's a less than 5 minute walk to the venue.

  • There is parking at a public parking lot, Enterprise Gold, directly next-door to the Hampton Inn hotel. The rate is $45 overnight in addition to hourly rate for coming in and out. Parking is very limited in the hotel area.

  • Our dress code is festive formal. It’s a party so we’d love for you to have some fun with your attire! Break out your bright colors, festive patterns, sequins, feathers, or anything in between! We encourage you to have fun and play with your look with bold colors and accessories. Learn more about festive formal attire here.

  • We love your kids and wish we had capacity to host everyone! Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named.

  • Food and drinks are on us! We will have dinner and drinks provided for you at the wedding.

  • The Boathouse is a hybrid venue and will be both outside on the dock and inside the building.

  • We’re so glad you asked! For those of you looking to keep the party going, we have booked space for an after party at our favorite local bar, The Commissioner. There will be a trolley provided to transport you from the venue to the bar after the wedding.
